The biopic of former Tamil Nadu chief minister and late actor, J. Jayalalithaa is back on track to finish the film. Actor, Kangana Ranaut who is going to essay the role of Jayalalithaa, took to Instagram to share the photos from the sets of the film. She is shooting for the film after seven months and has wrapped up its latest schedule.

On the other hand, reports have come in that Kangana is working hard on the film. Ever since day one, she is putting all in for her role in the film, taking Tamil and Bharatnatyam classes.
AL Vijay is helming the project, which is much anticipated. Earlier, Kangana had shared photos of the prosthetics which were being used on her, to make resemble close to J. Jayalalithaa. While one of the producers of the film, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, had revealed that Hollywood artist, Jason Collins is the one, working on Kangana’s look in the film.
Writing for the film is Baahubali and The Dirty Picture writers, KV Vijayendra Prasad and Rajat Arora. The film is titled as Thalivi and will see actor, Arwind Swami playing an important role in the film.
It will release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film would have released on June 26, 2020, however, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed its shooting. A new release date for the film will be announced soon, once it completes all its work.
