Reportedly, the actor feels very close to the topic of Ram Mandir. It’s a name she has grown up hearing to and something she could relate to. Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Kangana said, that Ram Mandir is a burning topic for hundreds of years. As a child grown up in 80s, she has grown up hearning the name Ayodhya in the negative light because of the piece of land on which the king was born, who was the epitome of sacrifices, became the subject of a property dispute.

She further added that the case has changed the face of Indian politics and the verdict has ended the centuries old dispute while embodying the secular spirit of India.

The topic was recently in news as the Supreme Court passed a verdict stating that 2.77 acres of the disputed land in Ayodhya will be handed over to the trust of the Government to make a Ram Temple and the 5 acres land will be given to Sunni Waqf Board to build up a mosque.

The movie will be titled Aparajitha Ayodhya which means unvanquished and according to the actor what makes it different is a journey of protagonist from a non-believer to a believer.

Besides this, Kangana will be next seen in one of the greatest political leaders, J Jayalalithaa’s biopic which is named Thalaivi. The makers released the first look of the actor from the movie on Saturday. The film will hit the screens on June 26, 2020.
