According to the experts, Kanika’s sample needs a thorough testing for a number of things before she can donate her plasma to anyone. Some of the aspects include the level of haemoglobin  should be above 12.5, she should weigh  more than 50 kg and the patient should not have diabetes, cardiovascular issues, malaria, syphilis and other such ailments.Last month, Kanika Kapoor was in headlines when she became the first celebrity from Bollywood to test positive for coronavirus.

In Lucknow, Kanika Kapoor had attended two parties where top politician and bureaucrats where invited and later all of them tested for Corona.

At the Sanjay Gandhi Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Kanika was hospitalized for over a fortnight.

On April 26, she gave a statement clarifying her travel and COVID-19 history stating that she was pretty much known to all the misconceptions and wrong information floating around her but she thought of remaining silent until she is ready to speak.

In her social media accounts, Kanika stated that all persons she met in the UK, Mumbai and Lucknow have gone through the testing process and have tested negative and that she has properly followed the process.

Moreover, on Sunday KMGU has made the first plasma transformation in a government doctor whose age is 58 year old from Orai and the condition was critical.

The doctors stated that the patient is responding very well to the transfusion.

The university has total of three plasma donations one from fully recovered patient of Covid-19, two from doctors and one from a Lakhimpur man.
