Much awaited comedy show ‘Kanpur Waale Khuranas‘ premiered this weekend and it was nothing that we all expected. The format was just like ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, inviting celebs and interviewing them and making jokes around it. Sunil Grover is seen as the lead character in the movie, hosting the show.
Different characters appearing from time to time for a dose of comedy. Now the similarity doesn’t end here, the show even has its own Sidhu, Farah Khan as a neighbor, who induces ‘Padosi’ joke every now and then.
Adaa Khan is playing the role of Sunil Grover‘s wife who has seven sisters. Aparshakti Khurrana replaced Kunal Kemmu, even before the premiere episode.
To be released movie ‘Simmba‘ stars along with the director were the first guests on the show. Rohit Shetty welcomed the jokes about his flying cars and breaking wall, Ranveer Singh too was very supportive about the marriage jokes on him and his newly wedded wife Dipika. Sonu Sood and Sidharth Jadhav were also among the guests.
Although the jokes are old and the format is shabby, the audience loved it and Twitter was trending with the appreciation for the show with #SunilGrover.
