The shooting of the film titled ‘Kanpuriye’ starring Aparshakti Khurana, Divyendu Sharma, and others has started and first still from the sets surfaced on the internet.
The picture features Aparshakti smiling with a cell phone in his hand. The actor is seen wearing a striped shirt and combed his hair in parting, a typical “Kanpuriya” look. Other crew members can be seen in the background. The film also stars Harshhita Gaur, Vijay Raaz, Chitaranjan Tripathi, and Rajshri Deshpande. The coming of age film will be directed by Ashish Aryan and bankrolled by Yoodley Films.

The film will be based in the city of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, as the film title suggests.
On 5th February, the official Twitter handle of Yoodlee Films shared some stills of the actor where he is seen dressed up in his character sharing screen with his co-actors.

Ayushmann Khurrana‘s brother Aparshakti Khurana made a mark with his first movie in Bollywood, Aamir Khan‘s ‘Dangal‘. He gained wide recognition for his role in the film and last appeared in last year’s hit film ‘Stree‘ along with Rajkummar Rao. The actor is going to have a busy 2019 as he will be seen in ‘Luka Chuppi‘, ‘Jabariya Jodi‘ and ‘Street Dancer’ among others.
Divyendu Sharma garnered appreciation with his web series ‘Mirzapur’ for his role as Phoolchand Tripathi aka Munna Bhaiya.
