American Rapper Kanye West has always been a man of many words. He has never hesitated to speak out about his own beliefs and is very straightforward about them to the public. Hence, his subsequent tweets about his appreciation and admiration towards President Donald Trump left the public wide-eyed as they read through his tweet posted on his Twitter account at 12:30pm, EST.
In his tweet he clearly put forward his views regarding Mr. Trump and that “the mob can’t make [Kanye] not love [Trump]”. He believes both of them to have the same kind of “dragon energy” within them and accepts Mr. Trump as his brother. Kanye elaborates further that he loves everyone and that he doesn’t need to support everything a person does to support them as a whole.
Soon after this, he posted two consecutive pictures of him posing with acquaintances wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat, followed by bragging about his latest MADA hat being signed by Mr. Trump himself.
This entire revelation which took place over the course of a few hours wreaked havoc among the Press as well as among his Twitter followers. Many famed artists like Harry Styles, Ariana Grande and successful groups like BTS and The Weeknd reportedly ‘unfollowed’ Kanye on Twitter soon after this.
The long-term results of his action are yet to be determined.
