Kapil Sharma has been the lone comedian managing his show after a controversial spat with other famous comedians Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar. After the co-stars left, the TRPs rolled down in the last three months and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ couldn’t keep the same momentum of being in the top 5.
According to the sources, Kapil Sharma was given a strict warning of replacing his show with his so-called rival Sunil Grover’s (aka Dr.Mashoor Gulati), but seems like things are looking up for the funnyman as he is back on the TRP list now. This week’s Broadcast Audience Research Council ratings show that ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has finally managed to regain its lost spot as it has come back to number 5th.
Kiku Sharda, the only comedian left from the older lot (playing Bacha Ji) tweeted the latest BARC ratings and thanked the audience for their love as well.
