Director and a producer Karan Johar recently shared the still from the Jahnvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter‘s Bollywood debut movie title ‘Dhadak‘. The shooting of the movie has started in the city of lakes, Udaipur. The movie will be directed by Shashank Khaitan and will be produced by Karan Johar. The movie features Jahnvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter in the lead. The movie is said to be an official remake of a Marathi blockbuster movie ‘Sairat’.
Today, Karan Johar shared the new still from the movie ‘Dhadak’ on his Twitter account along with a caption saying, “Janhvi and Ishaan in #Dhadak …shoot progressing rapidly! Directed by @ShashankKhaitan releasing 6th July 2018.”

The movie is going as per the schedule. In the new shared still by the producer, Karan Johar shows that it is an emotional scene. In the still, both the actors Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter looks determined so that they can get the scene right.
The movie ‘Dhadak’ is said to be inspired by the Marathi blockbuster movie with a title ‘Sairat’ and this movie marks the debut movie for both the actors. However, Ishaan has already featured in the Iranian director Majid Majidi’s movie titled ‘Beyond The Clouds’ and he is very well known for his movies like ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’ and he says for both the actors that both the actors are very hardworking and they are both are a very great people to work along. These are the two things which he generally looks in an actor and he says that these both things they are having.
In the movie, Jhanvi’s wardrobe has been designed by the famous fashion designer Manish Malhotra. Director of the movie, Shashank Khaitan has told to the news agencies that the basic premise of the two movies is same but the setting of the movie ‘Dhadak’ is something which is different. However, he clarifies that the basic premier of both the movies is same, but there is a variation in the movie.
He says that his story is one step up. The movie is set in the Rajasthan and it comes up with the own challenges, conflicts and the style of a love story and the makers are just adopting the Sairat into the world that they want to.
The movie ‘Dhadak’ is all set to release on July 6, next year.
