Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar is going to launch digital content company Dharmatic Entertainment. The company will be headed by him and the CEO of Dharma Productions Apoorva Mehta.
Karan made an announcement of his new company on twitter. Posting the photo of the new office he wrote, “Our new journey begins!!! DHARMATIC !! The DIGITAL content company! This is our new baby”

According to a press statement released by the company, “With Dharmatic Entertainment, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions will now create content for the digital space.”
Somen Mehta will be the fictional content head of the company. He is currently the head of creative development at Dharma Movies. Former NDTV journalist Aneesha Baig will be the non-fictional content head.
Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s ‘2.0’ will be presented by Karan Johar in Hindi. He is currently busy with its promotions. He is also hosting the sixth season of his chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’. He recently announced his next project ‘Takht’ and its entire star cast. It is scheduled to be released in 2020.
