Kareena Kapoor is no doubt one of the most recognized and fashion clad actresses in the industry. On the work front, Kareena was last seen in the superhit film Veere Di Wedding. The film was a major success and proved how a women-leading film can also have a grand opening on box-office.
Kareena is currently working on romantic comedy film Good News. Directed by Raj Mehta, film stars Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani in the main roles.
Kareena is already hopeful that the film Good news is going to do well. Kareena asserted, “Today it is all about stories and that has been proved with the response to films. ‘Good News’ has shaped up well. We will get the collections as we have Akshay Kumar as well. We have a great cast and story.”
It is scheduled for release on 27 December 2019.
Kareena is also a part of comedy-drama Angrezi Medium, which is a sequel of the 2017 film Hindi Medium. The new version stars Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor in the pivotal roles.
Kareena is playing the role of lady cop in the movie which was earlier planned to be given to a male cop but was later decided that female cop could be more effective.
There was also a report that before Kareena was finalized for the movie, the role of her character was comparatively less but when Kareena’s name came up, producers decided to increase her role in the movie.
