Taking this as a cue, Sanjana Reddy is making a film on Indian weightlifter Karnam Malleswari’s life. The makers of the film announced this news today, on the weightlifter’s 45th birthday. It will be a pan-Indian project in Telugu.

Kona Film Corporation took to Twitter to reveal the poster of the film.

Here is the poster:

Jointly produced by Kona Venkat and MVV Satyanarayana, the cast and crew of the film will be announced soon. Sanjana Reddy who made her debut with 2018’s ‘Raju Gadu’ is helming the project. Producer Kona Venkat is also the writer of the film and to his credit has written films such as Dookudu, Baadshah, Ready and late actress Sridevi’s Mom.
