Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor, who will soon be seen in upcoming film Dostana 2, have wrapped up the second schedule of it. The first schedule was shot in Punjab last month while the second leg went on the floors in Mumbai earlier this month.
Aaryan took to his Instagram account to share the information and wrote, “Wrap for the 2nd schedule for all of us in 2019.’ He also wished his fans a merry Christmas and shared a photo with the post. The picture features him, Janhvi Kapoor and one member from the film’s team. All of them seem to be in Christmas mood and can be seen wearing red Santa hats.

Dostana 2 is set to be the standalone sequel of the 2008 film Dostana which was directed by Tarun Mansukhani and emerged as a successful film. While the first film starred John Abraham, Abbishek Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead, the sequel stars Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor and TV actor Lakshya who has appeared in shows like Porus, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, and others.
Directed by Collin D’Cunha, Dostana 2 is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Johar and Apoorva Mehta. While Dostana was about two guys who faked being gay for getting an apartment, Dostana 2 actually features gay characters. It tells the story of a pair of brother and sister who fall in love with the same guy.
