Even with the minimum collection at the box office Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer, ‘Luka Chuppi’ crossed another benchmark and successfully completed 50 days in theatres. This is Kartik’s fourth film after ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ series and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ to complete 50 marvelous days at the box office and it is indeed impressive.
The film has done a tremendous business of ₹95 crores in India and ₹110 crores worldwide.
‘Luka Chuppi’ is helmed by Laxman Utekar, the romantic comedy has received mix reviews from the audience as well as critics. The film collected ₹53.10 crores in its first week, ₹18.23 crores in the second week, ₹10 crores in its third week, and ₹2.39 crores in the fourth weekend.
‘Luka Chuppi’ explores a journey of a supposed to be arranged marriage, turned to a live-in relationship and then to a love marriage. Kartik and Kriti who met each other through their respective families to arrange marriage, decide to give live-in a shot in order to check their compatibility. The story takes a twist when their family find out and decide to live in with them, unknown to the fact that they are not married.
Kartik has proved himself to be a promising actor since his debut in 2011.
