Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer, Luka Chuppi, had a good second weekend as it collected over ₹18 crores and took its total to ₹75.24 crores. The film observed a drop in its second-week collection which is around 65% and But the film is earning well at the box office because of its popularity among the youngsters. ‘Luka Chuppi’ is helmed by Laxman Utekar, the romantic comedy has received mix reviews from the audience as well as critics.

‘Luka Chuppi’ explores a journey of a supposed to be arranged marriage, turned to a live-in relationship and then to a love marriage. Kartik and Kriti who met each other through their respective families to arrange marriage, decide to give live-in a shot in order to check their compatibility. The story takes a twist when their family find out and decide to live in with them, unknown to the fact that they are not married.
