Kartik Aaryan’s 3D action film stalled

Things are not the same anymore because of the Coronavirus. Work and daily life are all witnessing a massive change. Entertainment and Travel industry have been affected by it the most. As a result, theatres are shut since over three months, travel is restricted and everyone is waiting for a vaccine.

Latest news is that actor, Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming 3D action film with Om Raut has been stalled. The makers of the film planned to shoot it in various locations abroad but all this went awry after the pandemic came. Produced by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar, the film will now be developed some time later.

A source close to the film told PTI in an interview:

“We are doing it (film) later. It is on hold because the film involves a lot of foreign shoot and we can’t shoot abroad. The team was to shoot in Hong Kong but it can’t happen due to coronavirus. We are figuring out what to do. There were other places also. It is a cutting edge action film.”

Director, Om Raut made his debut last year with Ajay Devgn’s, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The film went to become a blockbuster and crossed over Rs 350 crores worldwide. It also starred Kajol and Saif Ali Khan.

While his next film was with Kartik, which has been stalled now, both of them are still committed to the project. Changes are being made to the script, so that they can shoot the film in India as they can’t go abroad now.

Meanwhile, Kartik’s another film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’s shoot also got halted. The team of the film was shooting in Lucknow when the pandemic forced them to stop in March. It is being helmed by Anees Bazmee.

The actor was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal.
