The episode begins with Sonalika/Komolika being irritated with the smoke floating around the house because of the pooja ceremony. She goes to sit with Mohini, Moloy and Anurag. Mohini suggests that because Sonalika is the daughter in law of the house, Anurag should take her to the Kuldevi mandir/temple to receive blessings.
Anurag is hesitant at first, but Sonalika convinces him to take her because its her mother’s wish. Anurag and Sonalika reach the temple. Prerna is also praying at the same shrine, and when she turns around after hearing Anurag’s voice, she proceeds to hide herself. She watches from a partition as Anurag and Sonalika begin the pooja ceremony and wonders how she has to hide from her own husband.
Anurag gets distracted by Prerna’s presence and spoils the ceremony by stopping in between of a circle. The priest tells them that they’d have to restart the whole process, but sensing his disinterest, Somalia asks the priest they’ll continue it some other day.
Outside, Prerna’s sari brushes against Anurag and he experiences a faint flashback. Prerna is walking on the road when Anurag’s car hits her. Sonalika tries to retain Anurag in the car but he goes out to see the woman who has been hurt. He immediately recognizes Prerna and introduces her to Sonalika. Prerna begins to remember the days when Anurag used to love her. He forces Prerna to get inside the car and then lifts her up when she can’t walk. He enters her house with her while Sonalika tags behind.
