Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Kedarnath‘ is still standing strong among big budget ‘2.0’ and Hollywood’s ‘Aquaman’. In spite of reduced screens and shows and a few competitors ‘Kedarnath’ has managed to collect around Rs 4 crore during weekdays.
Abhishek Kapoor directorial has minted Rs 57 crores till now and expected to cross Rs 60 crores in the coming days. However, after the release of much awaited Shah Rukh’s ‘Zero’, it might get hard for ‘Kedarnath’ to survive on Box Office.
Biz analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film’s last weekend and this week days earning and total earning till now.

The film marked the debut of Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara, which needless to say stole the thunder. The movie was not appreciated for the plot or story but was praised for Sara’s strong performance.
The story features the love story of a Muslim boy and Hindu girl who live in Kedarnath. When the girl’s family come to know about it, they get the boy beaten up and try to get the girl to marry against her will. The girl, to get her love back, prays the Lord Kedarnath to bring catastrophe. God hears her prayer and the natural calamity occurs in the form of heavy rain, thunder, and flood. This part of the film is based on the disaster which happened in Uttarakhand in 2013, which killed thousands of people and left lakhs homeless.
