What seemed impossible for any regional movie, Yash and Srinidhi Shetty starrer ‘KGF‘ made it happen. The Hindi version of Prashanth Neel’s directorial beat the Bollywood movie ‘Zero’ starring Shah Rukh Khan at the Box Office on its eighth day.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared the news on his twitter handle and wrote, “An impossibility, a week ago has happened.. #KGF Hindi has beaten #Zero yesterday… Day 8 – Friday, Dec 28th…”

The film’s total earning till now has reached up to Rs 22.50 crores in just Hindi version. This is lower than the first-week collection.
It’s total earning in all format has crossed Rs 100 crore mark worldwide within a week of its release. The film has done a business of 105 crores in eight days.

Looking at the business of KGF, producer Karthik Gowda tweeted, “Heartfelt thanks to each and every person who watched our film n supported it to this extent. So happy to see the housefull boards, the reviews, the excitement among the people and everything. #KGF”
