After a huge success of ‘KGF- Chapter 1‘, the shooting of its second chapter has finally started to end the fan’s wait. This one is one of the most awaited sequels after the first film won several accolades and impressed the audience from all over the world.
The shooting started after a pooja ceremony and the whole cast and crew were present at the small service.
Talking it to Twitter, movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the commencement of the film with some pictures from the sets. He wrote, “#KGF Chapter 1 won accolades and emerged a winner at the BO… It’s time for #KGFChapter2… Shoot starts today… Stars Yash.”

Yash’s ‘KGF’ is the most talked about Kannada movie to date, and it lived up to the audience’s expectations. The action-packed film was just the first part of the two film series and after watching the film, one can not wait for the second to arrive.
The film was released on 21 December last year with Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Zero’, it outran the latter and ran successfully in theatres. Surprisingly the film did great business in non-Kannada region, which made it the first Kannada movie to do so.
The film not only became the first Kannada movie to cross ₹ 200 crores in the global market but also became the first Kannada movie to get a commercial release in Pakistan.
