Tanishaa Mukerjee and Mustafa Burmawala are all set to star in Sarim Momin’s directorial venture titled Khabees. The film also feature Siddhant Kapoor, actress Shraddha Kapoor’s brother who also appeared in a brief role in her film Haseena Parkar.
Mustafa, the son of Abbas Burmawalla from the famous filmmaker duo Abbas-Mustan, took to his social media account to share the poster of the film and called it “a new genre of thriller.” The poster of the film suggests it has a musical connection as it features a guitar motif and silhouettes of a group of musicians performing.

The young actor Mustafa made his debut in 2017 with Machine. Despite being directed by the ace duo of Abbas-Mustan who have made films like Khiladi, Baazigar, Aitraaz, etc, the film tanked at the box office. But after two years since the release of Machine, Mustafa is set to start afresh with the upcoming film Khabees which is also in thriller genre just like his debut project.
Daughter of the veteran actress Tanuja and sister of Kajol, Tanishaa was last seen in Anna: Kisan Baburao Hazare based on the life of social activist Anna Hazare. She recently made her debut in the arena of short films with a film titled Life Is Short where she appears in the role of a delusional diva of an actress.
Coming back to Khabees, produced by Mohan Nadaar, the film is written by Sarim Momin and Aradhna Jagota while Sarim has directed it.
