Kiara Advani to share screen space with Akshay Kumar in Hindi remake of Tamil film ‘Kanchana’

Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani, who are already working together in Raj Mehta’s ‘Good News‘, might be seen together in the Hindi adaptation of Tamil horror-comedy ‘Kanchana’.

The film will be directed by Raghava Lawrence who had written, helmed, as well as played the lead role in the original. The shooting of the film will start in April but an official announcement regarding the movie has not been made yet.

On the work front, both are busy shooting for ‘Good News’ which also features Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh. ‘Good News’ is a romantic comedy which revolves around two couples facing issues with pregnancy.

Akshay is will also be seen in ‘Kesari’ this year, a film which showcases the unbelievable true story of the bravest battle ever fought, Battle of Saragarhi. The film stars Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles.

While Kiara was last seen opposite Ram Charan in ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’.

After giving hits like ‘Gabbar is Back’ and ‘Kambakkht Ishq’, Kareena and Akshay will return to the silver screen.  They have impressed the viewers with their onscreen chemistry and perhaps that’s why fans can’t wait to catch the film on the big screen. This film is directed by Raj Mehta under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Production.
