Kriti Sanon: 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' a milestone in my career!

After gaining a lot of appreciation for her recently released movie titled ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, Kriti Sanon was spotted holidaying with her team in Spain. The movie which was directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and written by Nitesh Tiwari. It features Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles.

Kriti says that there are many films in an actor’s career which proves to be a turning point for an exciting career graph. She says that her recently released movie “Bareilly KI Barfi” was a milestone for her, she said, “I feel every film that you do is almost like a stepping stone. You do try to do something different and you do try to learn something from every project you are a part of.”

Kriti says that many a time while shooting for the movie you have stepped out of your comfort zone and do something different which will define your career and that has to be accepted by the audience and by the reviewers and everyone around. Kriti wishes to do something more experimental not just contain oneself in one zone.

About her role in the movie “Bareilly Ki Barfi”Kriti said, “Yes after ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ is being accepted and after my work, as Bitti is appreciated, which was a new thing for me as this whole world was very new for me, I feel much more confident to take up different kinds of opportunities. Also, the opportunities coming my way now are way more interesting and exciting and varied in terms of only one kind of a zone. So people can now see me in a different kind of a light.”

Recently, Kriti was being announced as the brand ambassador for Education in New Zealand. Kriti does not have a filmmaking course degree but she says that she would love to pursue the professional degree in filmmaking. She thinks that sometimes theoretical knowledge is also very important and you should be aware of when you do a course. She says that some day in the future she would be taking a break for a month and would be doing a month course because she feels that it also refreshes as an actor otherwise you become monotonous in what you are doing.

Talking about her last movie ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, where Kriti played the lead role of a young contemporary girl in Uttar Pradesh while Ayushmann Khurrana played the role of a printing press owner and Rajkummar Rao played the role of an employee working in the printing press under Ayushmann Khurrana.
