The episode of Kundali Bhagya begins with Karan and Rishabh arriving back to their home. Rakhi suggests Karan should prepare for his engagement with Mahira, which is going to take place at night. Srishti visits the medical store to buy medicine for her mother. She confides in Sammy that Karan burned the wedding hall down because he still loves Preeta and can’t see her with anyone else. Sameer is skeptical about Srishti’s assertions and phones Karan, who replies that he’s at home. Sammy believes Karan didn’t interfere with Preeta’s wedding and there is another explanation for the fire.
Prithvi wakes up and panics. He’s devastated that he couldn’t marry Preeta and blames Sherlyn for burning down the wedding hall. When his mother tries to explain that Sheryln wasn’t present at the hall, he explains that she hit him, and he fainted.
Karan is very glad that he was able to ruin Preeta’s wedding. And even though he hates Preeta in his mind, and thinks she’s one of the worst girls he’s met, he still wants her to come and ruin his engagement as well. Sammy approaches him, and gives him the ring for the ceremony. He tries to force Karan to tell him if he went to Preeta’s wedding, but he lies to him. Sammy questions him again if he wants to Mahira or if he’s only doing it because of family pressure. Karan says he does want to marry Mahira.
