The episode begins with Srishti and Preeta talking about Karan. Srishti asks Preeta how she was able to meet Karan. Preeta doesn’t have any desire to communicate her feelings with Karan because she feels he has a lot of anger issues. He won’t let her marry anyone because he wants to fulfill his revenge, and he will also never understand her explanations. Preeta blames him for her mother’s sick condition.
She decides divorce is the only way through which she can regain her freedom from him. The next day, when Karan comes down, Kareena tricks him into sitting down by pointing at his shoelaces and then steals the bottle of protein from his bag. She gives it to Mahira, and tells her to return it to Karan at his work.
Sherlyn watches the scene and is glad that Kareena also wants Karan to get married to Mahira. She also notes that Kareena only appears goodhearted and kind, but actually works against the interests of the entire family.
At work, Shiv again clarifies his affection toward Preeta but Karan gets angry with him. Karan tells Shiv to not approach Preeta with any romantic hopes. Renuka meets Preeta in the hallway and asks if she is feeling satisfied with the job. Preeta is gracious. Renuka understands that Karan and Preeta used to be close but something has come between them. Preeta tells her she’s not interested in carrying out any relations with Karan.
Mahira reaches the locker room to give the bottle of Protein to Karan. She accidentally trips and injures her ankle. Shiv notices that Mahira is infatuated with Karan, but when he asks him, he doesn’t give a definite answer. Karan asks Preeta for ointment, but she demands to know the reason. He says Mahira has injured her ankle. Preeta goes to the locker room and treats Mahira with care.
