The episode begins with Preeta, who isn’t interested in going back to work, but is persuaded to try and leave by her mother. Kareena talks to Rakhi about Karan’s second marriage. Rakhi tells her that Karan is adamant on his decision to not marry anyone, and Kareena shouldn’t be forceful about the subject. She doesn’t want a second marriage for her son.
Prithvi is still stubbornly hoping that he can somehow marry Preeta, and when she comes out of the house and asks about his car, he says that it is running smoothly. He offers a ride to Preeta but she declines politely. Preeta travels to her work place, where Karan has also come for training. His teammate spots her in the corridor and says that she’s the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen. But when Karan goes out to look, Preeta turn around and he’s unable to get a glimpse of her.
Sherlyn comes back to Mahesh and Rakhi’s room, but her plan to steal the money is thrwated by Rakhi’s presence who is crying over Mahesh’s unconscious body.
Sherlyn tries to pit Rishabh against Preeta by telling him that, as Karan’s sister in law, she thinks he should marry Mahira. She also holds Preeta responsible for Mahesh’s accident. Rishabh is livid at hearing this and tells Sherlyn that Preeta can’t even drive a car, and has never harmed anyone. He takes the blame on himself, stating that he could’ve held things together but he couldn’t manage. He also repeats that when Mahesh came to conscious for a while, he took Karan’s name, not Preeta’s.
