After starting the shoot of their upcoming film Kwatha in Mumbai around two weeks ago, Isabelle Kaif and Aayush Sharma are all set to fly off to Delhi to begin the second schedule, according to a report in Mumbai Mirror. Starting from 15 January, the two will stay in the national capital for ten days to shoot a song and some sequences.
The report further revealed that the track is composed by DJ Chetas and choreographed by Rajit Dev. It will be shot in three days, at the Hindu College grounds with the film’s leads and 200 back-up dancers. “It is peppy and fun track with lots of humour incorporated in the lyrics,” director Karan Bhutani told the news daily. After Delhi, the team will go to the Northeast for a 45 day schedule.
While the film marks the debut of Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif’s sister Isabelle Kaif, Aayush Sharma made his acting debut in a lead role in Salman Khan’s production Loveyatri last year. He will be seen playing an army officer in the upcoming film. He spent a few months at an army camp in Pune to be trained and put on 12 kg of muscle weight to bring the authenticity to his look in the film.
“Our idea is to tell the story that not many people know, and at the same time, also do it with responsibility, without making the action look filmi,” said Sharma who has previously worked as an assistant director for Salman Khan’s movies such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sultan and Tubelight.
Produced by Produced by Sunil Jain, Omprakash Bhat, Aditya Joshi, Alok Thakur and Sujay Shankarwar, Kwatha is scheduled to be released in 2020.
