The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner family is making her fortune from the best-selling cosmetic business. Global icon, Kylie Jenner founded and owns 100 percent of her cosmetic range Kylie Cosmetics, has emerged to become the youngest self-made billionaire in the world. According to the reports from Forbes, Kylie Jenner has replaced the Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg who became a billionaire at the age of 23 while Jenner has reached the fortune at the age of 21 after her sales shot up to $360 million in 2018.

Kylie has a daughter Stormi with her partner Travis Scott. The youngest billionaire sells her cosmetics online and in a few pop-up shops. “I popped up at a few stores, I did my usual social media—I did what I usually do, and it just worked,” she told Forbes.

She started her Kylie Cosmetics in 2015 and was the sole owner for its all profit and still is. According to Forbes, her empire only consists of seven full-time and five part-time employees. Kylie’s mother Kris Jenner takes care of her finance and PR. However, Kylie’s success is due to her massive fan following on social media. She shares her products online for her fans to see directly on her official accounts across Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. “I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future. But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back,” she said.

”It’s the power of social media, I had such a strong reach before I was able to start anything. I see [Kylie Cosmetics] going very far, I work really hard,” said Jenner. Now, she is thinking of expanding her brand by collaborating with her distributor Ulta.
