The 74th Golden Globe Awards hosted by Jimmy Fallon, honored the best talents in the movie industry. The event took place on January 8, 2017 from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

The movie broke the record of the highest number of awards to be won by a movie in The Golden Globe Awards.

La La Land directed by Damien Chazelle walked away with the Best Director and Best Screenplay Award. La La Land won the Best Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) Award.

Ryan Gosling, who played the role of Sebastian, won the award for the Best Actor in a Motion picture (Comedy or Musical). Emma Stone played the role of an aspiring actress , Mia, and as expected she bagged the Best Actress in a Motion picture (Comedy or Musical). She was seen wearing a mild colored Valentino Gown.

Justin Hurwitz won the award for Original Score Department. Being a musical movie, it definitely had to bag an award for a song. ‘City of Stars‘ won the award for The Original Song.

The stars Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling were honored with a hand and foot ceremony at the Chinese Theater (TCL) in Hollywood. They left their permanent impression on Hollywood along with the ranks of Marilyn Monroe, Hugh Jackman and others.
