This is not a secret that actor, Neil Patrick Harris is starring in Matrix 4. He has an important role to play in the Lana Wachowski directorial, which stars Keanu Reeves reprising his role as Neo. In a recent virtual talk, Neil talked about the film, describing how Lana’s filming process has changed.
The actor was on Sirius XM’s The Jess Cage Show, where he talked about his “small” role in the film. While talking, he praised Lana Wachowski and called Matrix 4, one of the most ambitious films currently in Hollywood.
Harris said, “I think she has great inclusive energy and her style has shifted visually from what she had done to what she is currently doing.”
Further, he added :
“I’ve always wanted to be a lead in a big giant action movie with wires and stuff. And this is not bad for me, but it’s certainly tangential and fun for me to be able to play in the sandbox a little bit.”
Matrix 4, which is the fourth installment in the Matrix film franchise, also sees Carrie-Anne Moss reprising her role of Trinity from the original films.
Other new actors apart from Harris, set to appear in the film are, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jonathan Groff, Brian J Smith, and Toby Onwumere.
Lana has co-written the script with David Mitchell and Aleksandar Hemon. While Warner Bros. Pictures and Village Roadshow Pictures are its producers. The film will hit theatres on April 1, 2022.
