Akshay Kumar's war drama Kesari will see actor work with Mad Max: Fury Road stunt coordinator!

Earlier, when we have seen Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar for letting his fists do the talking was in the 2015 movie title ‘Brother’, which was an official remake of the Hollywood movie titled ‘Warrior’, and after that, the veteran actor shifted his focus mainly on the comedy and drama movies.

Now, Akshay Kumar along with the filmmaker Karan Johar has joined the hands for their upcoming movie titled ‘Kesari‘, the movie which will be based on the battle of the Saragarhi. However, the movie was scheduled to hit the theaters during the 2019 Holi. The movie will be directed by Anurag Singh.

Akshay is all set to do his comeback with a heavy duty action and will be a cheer up for his die-hard fans. According to the recent reports, Lawrence Woodward has been signed as to choreograph the action sequence of the movie titled ‘Kesari’. Lawrence is very well known for his earlier work which he did in the Hollywood movies like ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ and ‘Moulin Rouge’.

In the movie titled, ‘Kesar’, Akshay will be seen essaying the role of Havaldar Ishar Singh, he is a Military commander of 21 Sikh soldiers and on September 21, 1897, he led his men through a furious battle against thousands of Afghani invaders. Sources reveal that Lawrence has met the makers of the movie last week he visited Mumbai and he will be starting preparing the movie in December along with an actor Akshay Kumar

Lawrence will be giving the training to the actor Akshay in sword fighting beside rehearsing for other action sequences which includes hand to hand combat. However, the makers of the movie will start shooting from the first week of January in Mumbai which is followed by a schedule in Wai, a town which is situated in the Satara district where the huge sets of the Saragarhi and Gulistan forts as well the villages will be erected and later they will be going in Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh.

The movie ‘Kesar’ will feature Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in the lead. The movie will be directed by Anurag Singh and will be co-produced by Kumar and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. The movie is all set to go on the floors early next year and will hit screens in 2019.
