Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer, Luka Chuppi, is ruling the box office as it collected a total of ₹69.41 crores in 11 days. The film pundits have predicted that the film will earn around ₹18 crores in its second week at the box office, the lifetime collection of the film is predicted to be ₹80-85 crores.
The film is helmed by Laxman Utekar, the romantic comedy has received mix reviews from the audience as well as critics. But the film is earning well at the box office because of its popularity among the youngsters.
Trade analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter to reveal the latest collection of ‘Luka Chuppi’ and he wrote, ”#LukaChuppi is trending well on weekdays… Should cross ₹ 75 cr in coming days… Lack of major opposition [till #Kesari] will help collect an impressive total [₹ 80 cr+ on cards]… [Week 2] Fri 3.15 cr, Sat 5.20 cr, Sun 5.31 cr, Mon 2.05 cr. ‘Luka Chuppi’ explores a journey of a supposed to be arranged marriage, turned to a live-in relationship and then to a love marriage. Kartik and Kriti who met each other through their respective families to arrange marriage, decide to give live-in a shot in order to check their compatibility. The story takes a twist when their family find out and decide to live in with them, unknown to the fact that they are not married.
