‘Lukka Chuppi’ begins filming in Gwalior; to cast Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon

Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon will be seen together in the upcoming flick, Lukka Chuppi. The actors shared the first look from the film on Instagram and have started shooting the first schedule of the movie in Gwalior today. Yesterday when he landed in his hometown, Kartik was surprised to notice his posters on the road, giving him a warm welcome. The actor was already elated with the posters, when he further reached the UKP Main Gate he was shocked to see his fans waiting for him with garlands and bouquets for him.

According to sources, After sharing screen space with Aamir Khan in ‘Dangal’ Aparshakti Khurrana has been roped in for the movie. Whereas, further details on the role Aparashakti will be playing is yet to be revealed.

Speaking about being roped in for the film, Aparshakti said, “It’s amazing to be a part of Maddock camp again. They are more like family now. Dinesh Vijan is one of the few producers in the country who never takes artists for granted. Hence I love his way of working, plus Kartik and I play football together for All-Stars F.C. and already strike a chord. Kriti has been more than sweet whenever I have run into her. So really looking forward to this collaboration!”

The film, in which the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star will play the role of a star reporter of a local TV channel, travels from Mathura to Gwalior to Agra. According to media reports, Kriti will play the role of Aaryan’s love interest in the movie.

For the film, the two are required to speak in the local dialect and in the right lingo, and for that, they have already started preparing. Helmed by Laxman Utekar, the ‘desi rom-com’ will hit the big screens in March 2019.

Apart from Luka Chuppi, Kartik will also be seen in Hindi remake of Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party. He will also star opposite Ajay Devgn in Luv Ranjan’s next. Besides ‘Stree’, Aparshakti Khurana will also be seen in ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ as Sonakshi Sinha’s love interest and in Rajma Chawal as a goon from Gurgaon.
