For a long time now there has been a buzz about Rohit Shetty’s next – Simba that stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan. The film’s first look has already been released, and Ranveer’s look in the film as a quirky inspector is something we can’t wait to see.
Rumors were doing the rounds, that R. Madhavan was supposed to be a part of the film. However, he has denied the same and cleared the air on it.
Madhavan said, ” “Hey folks .. So I am a huge crazy fan of Rohit Shetty and his films. As is my son. It breaks both our hearts that I’m not able to be a part of this film because of my injury. I’m well on my way to recovery but this is a huge opportunity and excitement lost,” on a post he shared on Twitter from his account.
Madhavan has injured himself while working out in the gym. He had to undergo a shoulder surgery and has been advised complete rest for the next two months, thus making it impossible for him to be a part of Simba.
The Ranveer-Sara Ali Khan starrer is expected to release on December 28.
