Qubeka from South Africa, and Jia Zhangke from China.

The film revolves around the story of an upper-middle-class man (Annu Kapoor) who becomes friends with an 11-year-old ragpicker who is an orphan (Devrath Mudgil) and highlights the beautiful bond that they come to share. This emotional tale is sure to tug at your heart-strings and make you smile as well as cry.

Chinese director Jia Zhangke is the executive producer who has put all 5 short films on the same theme, together to make a feature film that will be premiered in Chengdu, China, while it will see a theatrical release in China in September followed by other countries.

Madhur Bhandarkar who is a huge Raj Kapoor fan has gone ahead and used the veteran’s song ‘Awaara Hoon’ in the background score of an important scene in the film. This is the director’s tribute to the original showman of Hindi films.
