Mahesh Babu’s ‘Maharshi’ postponed due to post-production formalities

The makers of Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film ‘Maharshi’ officially announced that the film has been postponed yet again. Now, the big-budget drama will hit the screens on May 9, 2019. Initially, the film was scheduled to release on April 5. Later, the makers of the film changed the date to April 25. Reportedly, the main scenes of the film are wrapped up, a couple of songs are to be filmed. The post-production formalities are yet to begin and promotion of the film also needs a good amount of time.

The film also features ‘Mohenjo Daro’ actress Pooja Hegde, Allari Naresh, Jagapathi Babu, Sonal Chauhan, Meenakshi Dixit, and Prakash Raj on board. The film has been extensively shot in Dehradun, New York, and Goa. Currently, the team is shooting in Pollachi in Tamil Nadu.
