There is no relief for filmmakers as problems are compounding over them one after the another. Now, Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film ‘Maidaan’s’ set are to be demolished. This is because of the Coronavirus and coming monsoon season. Producer of the film, Boney Kapoor confirmed this news.

In an interview, Boney said : We took this decision looking into the current situation in the country as well as the monsoon is near,So after discussing it with my team we took this decision to dismantle the set. Hopefully, the state and Central Government will be taking some important steps in upcoming days for the film industry.”

Though hopeful to start the shooting of the film in September, the producer told the newspapers that half of the crew working on the film are from abroad. They are waiting for the rules and regulations to be released by the government regarding the starting of films.

The film is already pushed once from its original release date of 27, November 2020 to 11, December 2020. The makers are hoping to avoid the same situation this time. ‘Badhaai Ho’ director, Amit Sharma is making the film.

Ajay devgn is starring as Syed Abdul Rahim, the indian football coach who is widely known as the founding father of Indian football. The film will document the golden golden years of Indian football. Besides Ajay, it will star Priyamani, Gajraj Rao and Boman Irani in significant roles.
