On the professional front, Siddharth will be seen playing the role of Raghu in the upcoming action thriller ‘Marjaavaan.’

Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles. It is slated to release on 15 November.

It marks the second collaboration between Siddharth and Riteish who had earlier worked in the 2014 Mohit Suri directed thriller ‘Ek Villain.’

The makers recently released a song from the film titled “Haiya Ho” featuring Rakul Preet, which became popular and has over 9.8 million views on YouTube.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani, ‘Marjaavaan’ will release on 15 November.

Siddharth’s last appearance was in the romantic crime comedy ‘Jabariya Jodi’ directed by Prashant Singh.

Based on the practice of groom kidnapping in Bihar, the film opened to mostly negative reviews and was a financial dud.

Siddharth has started shooting for the biographical war film ‘Shershaah’, where he will portray late captain Vikram Batra.
