On the work front, Rakul will be seen making a cameo appearance as the courtesan Aarzoo in the upcoming action thriller ‘Marjaavaan.’
Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film stars Riteish Deshmukh, Siddharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani, the film will be releasing on 15 November this year.
The makers had recently released a song titled “Haiya Ho” featuring Rakul, which has become popular with over 10 million views on YouTube.
Rakul was last seen in the Telugu language romantic comedy ‘Manmathudu 2’, directed by Rahul Ravindran. It was a critical and commercial success.
Her last Bollywood outing was Akiv Aliv’s romantic comedy ‘De De Pyaar De’, which was a major commercial success despite unfavorable reviews.
