On the work front, Rakul will be making a cameo appearance as the courtesan Aarzoo in the upcoming action thriller film ‘Marjaavaan.’
Directed by Milap Zaveri, the film stars Riteish Deshmukh, Siddharth Malhotra and Tara Sutaria in the lead roles.
The makers had recently released a song titled “Kinna Sona” which has become popular and has over 13 million views on YouTube.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikkhil Advani, the film is slated to release on 15 November.
Rakul was last seen in the Telugu language romantic comedy ‘Manmadhudu 2’, directed by Rahul Ravindran and co-starring Akkineni Nagarjuna. It was a critical and financial hit.
Her last Bollywood outing was Akiv Ali’s romantic comedy ‘De De Pyaar De’, which was a major commercial success despite unfavorable reviews.
It was recently announced that she will be paired along with Arjun Kapoor for a cross border drama film by Nikkhil Advani.
