This is not a good time for you if you are a Matrix fan. The fourth part of the sci-fi franchise has got delayed. Earlier, scheduled to release on May 21, 2021 the film will now release on April 1, 2022.

Co-produced by Warner Bros and Village Roadshow, it is written and directed by Lana Wachowski. Apart from Keanu Reeves, it stars Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, and Neil Patrick Harris.

Another big budgeted film, Legendary production’s ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ is also delayed. It will release on May 21 now instead of November 20. Further in a report from Deadline, Warner Bros has also delayed its cartoon action Tom & Jerry film from December 23 to March, 2021.

In a shocking news, Roald Dahl’s Witches which is being adapted by Robert Zemeckis into a film and stars Anne Hathaway in the lead has been removed from the release schedule of the Studio.

It can be rightly said, that the Coronavirus has altered the film industry’s plans.
