Small screen actor Meherzan Mazda says that he cried a lot when he got to know that his show ‘Dhhai Kilo’ was shutting down. The television series which began airing on Star Plus from April 3, 2017, is now shutting down and that is a big shock for the industry and with this, it is the fourth popular show that is coming to an end all at once. The series which is being produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor.
The show ‘Dhhai Kilo Prem’ was the popular show on the afternoon band. In the show Meherzan played the lead role of Piyush Sharma, his character is the rom-com and it seems disappointed with the development. About his show coming to an end, Meherzaan said that it’s been a satisfying journey and he has given a lot of efforts in this show and this is the show where he had taken the least holidays because he loves to come on the shoot. However it was really exhausting, but it was Ekta Kapoor and Sandiip sir was associated with this show so he has to make a mark.
Suddenly this news came that the show is shutting down and every one of them is in a shock. Even Meherzaan got very emotional when he was talking about his show. He said that he was preparing for an intense shot and then he got a call from his friends and that friend informed him about this news. Earlier he thought that his friend is joking and in return he even abused him, but while he was heading for the shot then he got a call from the Sandiip (Creative director of the show) and he informed him that the show is shutting down and after that he could not able to take a step ahead and after that he has to shoot a crying scene, and while doing shooting he actually cried.
Meherzan shared a great bond with everyone on the set and he says that they all have become a family and the thought of a joint family splitting made him cry. Meherzan and his co-star Anjali Anand was highly appreciated for the role they have played. About his co-star Anjali Anand, Meherzan said that she is a very close friend and they always end the shoot by hearing the Hindi love songs.
For the show, Meherzan had put on a lot of weight and he has put a lot of efforts in his role. He had gain 14 kgs to get into the Piyush’s character. He said that it is not at all easy it was very tough decision to pick up the show like this because for this he has to gain weight and he has to let go of his body. He almost took a month before signing the show and he is very happy that he had done the show. This show has improved him as an actor and now after the show, the very first thing he will do is that he will go to the gym and will get his lean body back.
About Indian television scenario, he said that they are satiated with their content and they need to follow the west and now it is the high time to progress. He has started watching Pakistani shows and he has simply loved them because of their basics.
