Actor Rana Daggubati has teamed up with director Milind Rau for an upcoming, yet to be titled project. The film, going on floors in August this year, will be produced by Gopinath Achanta under Vishwashanti Pictures banner.
Daggubati will be next seen in the second chapter of the biopic of NTR titled ‘NTR Mahanayakudu’ as Nara Chandrababu Naidu. In a recently released trailer, Rana caught attention and impressed the viewers by his brief performance. The film will hit theatres worldwide on February 22.
Rana shared the making of Nara Chandra Babu Naidu on his twitter handle and wrote, “And here is the making of me trying to portray the @ncbn. First time playing smone in real life. Hope I got close.”

Rana started his acting career with 2010 released Telugu film ‘Leader’. He received Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South and CineMAA Award for Best Male Debut for his debut movie.
His Bollywood debut was ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ for which he earned Zee Cine Award for Best Male Debut and was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut.
Rana won the State Nandi Award for Best Special Effects in 2006 for the Telugu film Sainikudu, as a Visual Effects Producer.
He will also appear in Hindi comedy film ‘Housefull 4’ this year.
