After Ali Asgar, Sugandha Mishra, Sanket Bhosle, it is Mithun Chakraborty, who is supposed to be a part of Krushna Abhishek’s new show for Sony TV. Mithun Chakraborty has given his nod to play a role in it. The show, earlier titled Comedy Company tentatively, will be called The Drama Company. Sunil Grover will make cameo appearances on the show. This means that Sony will have a double dose of comedy on the weekends, as this show will air before ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.
A source says, “Mithun will be the owner of the Comedy theatre who will hire Krushna Abhishek, Ali Asgar, Sudesh Lahiri, Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosle for his company. He will hire them with a promise of producing a film for them one day. The show will be comedy of errors as none of the members will get along with each other and this will lead to situational comedy.”
It seems Mithunda won’t be a judge like Navjot Singh Sidhu on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. He will be performing with the cast as he is also good in comedy. The source further told, “His character will be shown larger than life. We will not be cracking silly jokes instead the conflicts between the theatre actors and situations will lead to comedy.”
Mithunda got a lot of love as the judge on ‘Dance India Dance‘. He has been missing from TV since a long time now. Let’s see how he fares in tickling the audience’s funny bone.
