Item number ‘KGF‘ dropped today and Mouni Roy, by her stunning performance definitely dropped some jaws. The song is a remake of song “Gali Gali Mein Phirta Hai”, from an action thriller ‘Tridev’ which was released in 1989. Sangeeta Bijlani danced in the original song in the film.
The remake is sung by Neha Kakkar and filmed on Mouni Roy and the film’s main character Yash. It has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi.
The film is a period action drama based on Kolar Gold Fields and also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Ramya Krishna, Ananth Nag, John Kokken, and Achyuth Rao. It will be released in five languages, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are co-producing the film.
The film will release on December 21, Shah Rukh‘s ‘Zero‘ will also be released on the same day about the clash, Ritesh Sidhwani said, “I don’t think it is a clash or a fight for space. I think there is enough space. The reason we’re coming on the same date is that it is an important festive date for the south and we’re releasing in four different south Indian languages. We couldn’t have delayed it.”
