An Indian film producer Mukesh Bhatt says that the sexual harassment is not a gender-specific. Mukesh is the senior member in the Bollywood film industry and he has been in the news when he commented that there are women who are exploitative, very cunning and there are also blatantly shameless to offer themselves.
On this, Mukesh Bhatt says that he is very upset because his statement has been misquoted in front of everyone. He said that the sexual harassment is not gendered specific and there are some of the cases where men take advantage of this thing. While there is substance where women take advantage of the same.
Producer Mukesh Bhatt comes from the Vishesh Films clan and he believes that he stands by the firm belief that the sexual harassment should not happen in the very first place. However, he feels that it is a plague that needs to be eradicated completely.
Moreover, he says that both men and women have fallen prey to this. He feels that this is something which you can not generalize or discriminated on the based on the cast, creed, religion or gender. Mukesh says that he feels great when he sees people shed all their inhibitions and now they are coming out in the open and they are speaking freely about their trials and tribulations.
However, Mukesh says that his comment comes in the wake of the wave of sexual harassment allegations which are being leveled against Hollywood’s who’s who.
