Real life couple and co-stars Vivek Dahiya and Divyanka Tripathi have emerged as the winners of ‘Nach Baliye 8‘. They have won the coveted trophy, Rs 35 lakh cash prize, a Hero Maestro scooter and jewelry by Ora.

The journey of ‘Nach Baliye 8’, the hit dance reality show which features celebrity couples, began almost three months back in April finally came to an end yesterday. The show had kicked off with 10 celebrity couples participating. Over the episodes, the finalists beat out the list of participants comprising Ashka Goradia and Brent Goble, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim; Monalisa and Vikrant Singh Rajpoot; Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa, and Pritam Singh and Amanjjot Singh, to reach the finale.

Divyanka and Vivek, famous for their TV soap ‘Yeh Hain Mohabbatein’, are also set to ring in their first wedding anniversary on July 8. The growth of ‘DiVek’ – as their fans lovingly call them, in terms of dancing skills has been noteworthy and it is one of the reasons that the two today stand at the winning position. The two will reportedly fly to Europe to celebrate their anniversary. And now that they’ve won the trophy as well, this is surely a double reason for them to celebrate.
TV actor Abigail Pande and her dancer partner Sanam Johar were first runners-up while actors Sanaya Irani and Mohit Sehgal were second runners-up.
The finale of ‘Nach Baliye 8’ was made extra special with the presence of Ranbir Kapoor, who had a fun-filled evening with the contestants while promoting his upcoming movie ‘Jagga Jasoos.’ The ‘Nach Baliye 8′ finalists were also joined by previous winners Jay Bhanushali and Mahii Vij and Sanjeeda Sheikh and Aamir Ali, who delivered blockbuster performances. The judges’ panel comprising Sonakshi Sinha, director Mohit Suri and choreographer Terence Lewis also cheered for the winners.
