‘Namastey Canada‘ is an upcoming Indian movie which will be directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The movie features Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor in the lead. The movie is all set to release on December 7, 2018.
Director Vipul Amrutlal Shah will be seen directing the upcoming movie ‘Namastey Canada’ after a gap of 7 years. In the movie, both the Ishaaqzaade couple (Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra) would be seen romancing with each other.
About the name of the movie director Vipul Amrutlal Shah says that it is not a sequel of Akshay Kumar’s blockbuster movie ‘Namastey London’, this movie is totally a fresh script. However, Akshay Kumar has suggested him the title for his upcoming movie “Namastey Canada”. Vipul says that he is very happy that both the actors Arjun and Parineeti have agreed to play the part in the movie and he just hopes that the movie becomes one of their best outings.
About the movie ‘Namastey Canada’, actor Arjun Kapoor is very much excited to be a part of the film. He says he has seen Vipul’s work in the movies like ‘Aankhen’, ‘Waqt’, and ‘Namastey London’. Vipul has worked with the actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar before.
The movie ‘Namastey Canada’ is said to be a family entertainer and it has all the hearts and humours of a fun and family. About the movie, Parineeti Chopra said, “Namastey Canada is exactly the film I was looking for! It is desi with a videsi heart or maybe videsi with a desi heart!. Arjun and I are so excited to get this party on the floor. We will be playing to our Punjabi strengths but speak to the global audience. Also, I am so excited to be directed by Vipul sir, with whom, I share an amazing friendship in the last few years.”
The movie will be shot in the locations of Punjab and Canada. For the upcoming movie, Vipul has joined hands with Jayantilal Gada and currently, they are occupied in the pre-production process of the movie.
On the work front, Parineeti Chopra will also be seen in the movie ‘Golmaal Again‘, which is directed and co-produced by Rohit Shetty. The movie features Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade in the lead role and Nitin Mukesh in supporting roles. Golmaal Again is the fourth installment of the Golmaal film franchise.
