Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to praise Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar‘s upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. The actor originally tweeted the trailer of the movie Here is my humble contribution towards a Swachh Bharat. @narendramodi #ToiletEkPremKathaTrailer @ToiletTheFilm.
The film’s trailer showcases how to win a woman’s heart by building a toilet in your house, which is in sync with the PM’s pet project, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The PM said the movie is a commendable effort to promote cleanliness.
After Akshay shared the link of the trailer, Modi wrote on tweeted:

The 49-year-old actor replied:

Last month the National Award-winning actor had a meeting with the PM where they discussed about the film. The movie, directed by Shree Narayan Singh, is based on a love story against the backdrop of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
“Toilet…” also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Anupam Kher and Sana Khan.
