Modi pens foreword for Hema Malini's biography!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has penned forewords for the Hema Malini‘s biography. Modi has written a short crisp and sweet words for the biopic titled ‘Beyond The Dreamgirl’ which an authorized biography of the actress and BJP MP Hema Malini.

The book has been written by the editor of the Stardust and the producer Ram Kamal Mukherjee and the book will be launched on October 16, when the actress will turn 69. The launch also marks the celebration of Hema Malini’s glorious run of 50 years in India. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written very briefly in the book about his feeling for the actress Hema Malini. He has written a short, crisp, and sweet words for the actress.

Ram Kamal Mukherjee says that it is his honor for him as an author and for the actress Hema Malini also that it is the very first time when PM Narendra Modi has written the foreword for a book which is on the life of the Bollywood actress Hema Malini. Hema started her career with the 1968 movie ‘Sapno Ke Saudagar’ along with the actor Raj Kapoor. Later she did many movies like ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’, ‘Sholay’, ‘Dream Girl’, ‘Satte Pe Satta’ and much more. She is moreover an accomplished classical dancer. She has earned the title of the ‘Dreamgirl’ because of her flawless beauty and she becomes the superstar in a male-oriented film industry.

Later, in 1999 Hema Malini campaigned for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and she is a candidate in the Lok Sabha election in Gurdaspur, Punjab and now she is the BJP MP from Mathura Constituency. Ram says that it all happened all because of her credentials and contribution to her art and cinema that even PM Narendra Modi agreed to pen down foreword. When he was interacting into his office he was very happy that Hema is not limit her talk in the book of Bollywood but in 2005 released a coffee table book called ‘Hema Malini Diva Unveiled’.

The book with a title ‘Beyond The Dreamgirl’ will be published by the HarperCollins India and this gives the readers are an in-depth look into her life. However, the book is divided into 23 chapter, starting from her childhood, covering her teenage life, her Bollywood life, rise as an actor, romance, colleagues, marriage, her second innings, launching Shah Rukh Khan in the movie ‘Dil Aashna Hai’, which she has directed it, her ballet, her political journey and her spiritual journey. Moreover, there will be the two chapter that will be dedicated to her daughters Esha and Ahana.

Ram says that the book will even cover her Agra accident and her singing career as well. The authors have summed all that in a chapter and the title is given to the chapter as ‘Bliss’. The book will also cover Hema Malini’s family tree, which has not been published earlier in any of the books and the book has a lot of exclusive unseen photographs from her personal, political and professional spheres. The flawless Hema has also shared an insight into her love life along with actor Dharmendra as well as she has spoken the political figures like Narendra Modi, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, L.K Advani and Sushma Swaraj.

When asked that how did PM Narendra Modi penned down forward for the actress? Ram says that even he was not having any thought when he started to write a book two years before. He stared with a research and he wanted someone else to do the foreword and it was almost like a miracle that Narendra Modi got convinced to write the foreword for the book. When he discussed this thing along with the actress Hema Malini she said to Ram that she hopes that he knows that what is he talking she says that she knows that Ram is under pressure but she thinks that he is losing his mind. But, he says that there is no harm in trying when you try you can do whatever you want. Then he started it with a process.

Ram feels that Hema’s constant effort in promoting the Indian classical music and dance through her ballets on the Hindu mythological characters like Durga and Meera, which Narendra Modi appreciates. He thinks that Mr. Modi liked the inclination towards the classical dance and music and how does she promote it to international platforms. He thinks that it is the USP for the Hema Malini apart of being that she is Hema Malini and he thinks that it also what justified the title of the book.
