NASA is ready to do whatever it takes to make Tom Cruise’s space film a success. The film which will be a collaboration between NASA and Elon Musk’s company is grabbing headlines all over the world.

NASA’s administrator Jim Bridenstine in an interview to the Associated Press said “NASA has been in talks with Tom Cruise and, of course, his team, and we will do everything we can to make it a successful mission, including opening up the International Space Station.”

According to Bridenstine NASA created the ‘commercial marketplace’ in order to attract private companies like SpaceX, Boeing and other institutions. He further said that NASA wants to make space accessible to people belonging to different types of background.

Bridenstine also admitted that he got inspiration to become a pilot after watching Tom Cruise’s classic film ‘Top Gun’. He further said that NASA is “all in’ to help Cruise make the film but posed a profound question. The question was can Tom Cruise make a new movie that inspires the next generation Elon Musk? To which he said, if he can then NASA is all in.

Meanwhile Tom Cruise is waiting for his next film ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ a sequel of his 1986 film ‘Top Gun’ which is coming out in December.
